American Composites Manufacturers Association to Host Industry Leaders at 2017 Composites Executive Forum

On January 11-12, 2017, at the Loews Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C., the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) will host the 2017 Composites Executive Forum – an exclusive event designed specifically for composites industry leaders from all over the country seeking innovative business ideas and solutions.

Many businesses in the composites industry face similar challenges, including developing business opportunities, navigating political, economic and market trends, managing personnel, and fostering relationships with supply chair partners and customers.

The industry also faces similar opportunities and challenges with the new Trump administration and the certain changes to come. “Now more than ever, the information you have and how you respond shapes the success of your business,” said Tom Dobbins, ACMA President. “The Composites Executive Forum is a great opportunity to gain insights from key influencers and experts in business, economics and politics, exchange ideas and build solutions that will impact the way business is done in the composites industry.”

The event features two dynamic keynote addresses. Dr. Robert Fry, a former economist at DuPont, will provide an analysis of the global economy to help industry leaders better understand the economic trends that are affecting their businesses. The forum will also include speakers who will touch on mega trends affecting manufacturers, including national security and cultural issues, as well as insights into composites recycling, automotive light weighting, industry consortia and workforce development.

Herb Meyer, renowned author and speaker, will share insights on national security, economic and cultural issues to show executives how to identify opportunities in the decades ahead for their businesses. From unrest in the Mideast, the impact of demographic changes in Western Europe, to the growth of economies in China, India and Russia and those poised to rise, Mr. Meyer will make sense of this and provide his thoughts on how the future of American business can prosper.
