Composites One and Polynt Host Successful Closed Mold Workshop, Reinforcing Industry Leadership in Technical Education

Composites One, in collaboration with Polynt, recently hosted another successful Closed Mold Workshop in Kansas City, welcoming 40 customers from across North America for two days of hands-on technical training and industry education. Titled Leveraging Closed Mold Processes for Production Success, this event reflects Composites One’s ongoing commitment to supporting manufacturers through innovation, expertise, and in-depth knowledge-sharing.

Designed to deliver a balance of theoretical insight and practical application, the workshop featured a robust agenda led by Composites One’s Technical Team alongside experts from Polynt and a strong lineup of industry-leading supplier partners. Attendees gained actionable strategies for improving composite part production through sessions on resin chemistry, process selection, vacuum infusion optimization, and more.

A standout feature of the event was the Demo Zone, where customers worked side-by-side with technical experts to apply what they had learned through live demonstrations of vacuum infusion, Light RTM, and reusable silicone bag molding. This immersive, hands-on format continues to be a hallmark of Composites One workshops, giving participants real-world experience they can take back to their operations.
