Composites One Announces Al Dobbeck as Chief Executive Officer 

[January 5, 2026: Schaumburg, IL] – Composites One announced today that Al Dobbeck has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective January 5, 2026, in accordance with the company’s previously announced leadership succession plan. Dobbeck succeeds Leon Garoufalis, who has transitioned to Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, where he will continue to support the company’s strategic direction. Steve Dehmlow remains Chairman of the Board.

Dobbeck has been with Composites One for 14 years and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he has also held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Controller. He brings broad experience across finance, enterprise leadership, and company-wide execution, and has been deeply involved in shaping Composites One’s long-term growth strategy.

During his time at Composites One, Dobbeck led the execution and integration of four acquisitions and drove enterprise-wide operational initiatives to strengthen scalability, visibility, and disciplined growth. His leadership has supported the company’s continued focus on customer service, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Composites One, Dobbeck spent over six years at Deloitte, most recently serving as an Audit Senior Manager.

Dobbeck holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
