American Composites Manufacturers Association Architectural Division
The Architectural Division is one of ACMA’s Composites Growth Initiative (CGI) Committees. This specialty industry committee focused on growing composites in various market segments and manufacturing processes. By changing codes and creating specifications, the Architectural Division is working to make fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites an acceptable alternative to traditional materials, such as concrete, steel and aluminum. Additionally, the Division is finding ways to educate architects and building officials about composites in architectural applications.
