Silicones, sealants, and adhesives are used to bond and finish a variety of composite parts.

Specialty and structural adhesives based on urethane, acrylic, and epoxy formulations are used to bond composite parts in application ranging from transportation to marine to RV’s and many more. These adhesive products reduce or eliminate the need for mechanical fasteners, increase structural strength, and in many cases, reduce costs. Some adhesives can be applied with little or no surface preparation.

Sealants and silicones are produced for many applications and are used to finish parts and create water-tight joints. Silicone sealants have high elasticity, temperature resistance, and non-corrosive properties. Also available are hybrid sealants combining the adhesive strength of polyurethane with the weathering characteristics of silicone.
